Generating the Blend Ticket is done on-screen by filling in the required information. Some types of information like nutrient recommendations and Field Plans may be imported from other Agvance modules. This is helpful, but not required, for the Blending program to work. Information about the Field may be entered manually or imported from the Field file. The method of application, crop type, and any comments specific to the blend are optional. There are indicators to be marked if the material for this job is Loaded and if the material is in Mini-Bulk or will be Custom Applied. The term Loaded means the ticket has relieved inventory.
The Formulate By (Lbs of Plant Food or Guaranteed Analysis), Product Set, Optimize By, and Price By default from the previous ticket created but may be overridden. The Product Set used for the formulation may also be viewed or edited.
Additional products may be added to the blend and rates adjusted to the desired quantity. The amount of material to be blended, dollars per acre, and total dollars are available to be viewed.
Blend Tickets may print showing scale stops or settings for the blend operator to follow when making the blend. All batch information is summarized and printed on a Consolidated Blend Ticket for record keeping. Similarly, a Custom Application Sheet may be printed for the operator completing the application.
The Import Blend feature allows starting with existing blends. It may be helpful to set up templates for common blends or chemical programs. These templates can be imported, saving time for repetitive orders.
