Agvance Accounting handles hourly and salaried payroll. Before payroll can be calculated, current Federal tax tables and FICA/Medicare information must be entered based on the Government Circular E publication. In addition, appropriate state tax tables must be entered.
Processing payroll does not automatically post to the general ledger like most other functions in Agvance. This allows payroll to be processed in the next month before the current fiscal month is closed. For this reason, payroll has its own end of period function separate from the end of fiscal month.
