The customer booked and paid for 800 gallons of fuel, including prepaid sales tax at 6%.
A delivery of 300 gallons was made, and the ticket for that delivery follows. Notice the sales tax of $19.20 is due.
On the ticket, apply the dollars from the Prepay Sales Tax line on the Booking to cover the sales tax amount due by clicking the Taxes tab and using the Calc Prepaid Tax button. The Prepay Status column displays ‘Select.’ Click on the word Select to access the list of available Bookings.
Highlight the line item to be used for the prepaid sales tax, and click Done. The Amount Due will become zero.
