Motor fuel reporting can be off due to a very limited number of things.
Was a Location, Inventory Department, and/or Product added?
Yes
The Product must be set up in the Motor Fuel Product grid at Accounting / Motor Fuel / Setup / Motor Fuel Products.
Correction: Add the Product with the correct Product Code.
No
Issue: The sale or purchase does not have the correct Schedule applied.
Correction: Edit the Schedule at Motor Fuel / Reports / Preview Sales (or Preview Purchases).
Issue: The Origin City and/or State is incorrect or blank.
Correction: Edit the Origin City and/or State at Motor Fuel / Reports / Preview Sales (or Preview Purchases).
Issue: The Destination City and/or State is incorrect or blank.
Correction: Edit the Destination City and/or State at Motor Fuel / Reports / Preview Sales (or Preview Purchases).
Issue: The transaction date is wrong.
Correction: Void/Reverse the transaction and re-enter with the correct date.
Make sure the Purchase Invoice and Purchase Receipt dates are within the date range.
