Q. I have been getting several error messages in Agvance that reference SQL Server. My company uses Network Attached Storage devices, so the data does not actually reside on the SQL Server. What is wrong and how can I fix it?
A. SSI does not support using Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices or Storage Area Networks (SAN) because Agvance is a SQL Server based program. Microsoft does not recommend this type of configuration without a specific hardware configuration, purchased from Microsoft and conforming to Microsoft specifications. Also, Agvance requires that the database reside on the SQL server.
