No Budget Options
If nothing is checked, then all budget options - Current Budget, Forecast, Next Year Budget - will transfer to the new year unchanged.
The new year’s budget numbers will be as follows:
- Current Budget – Prior year current budget #s
- Forecast – Prior year forecast #s
- Next Year Budget – Prior year next year #s
Clear G/L Budget # to Zero
If the Clear G/L Budget # to zero option is checked, then the Current Budget #s will be zeroed out in the new year. Forecast and Next Year Budget #s are unchanged.
New year’s budget numbers will be as follows:
- Current Budget – Zero
- Forecast – Prior year forecast #s
- Next Year Budget – Prior year next year #s
Move Next Year’s Budget Numbers to Current
If the Move Next Year’s Budget #s to Current option is checked, then the next year's budget amounts are transferred to the current budget buckets in the new year. Forecast and Next Year Budget #s are unchanged in the current year.
New year’s budget numbers will be as follows:
- Current Budget – Prior year next year budget #s
- Forecast – Prior year forecast #s
- Next Year Budget – Prior year next year #s
Move Only Non-Zero Budget Numbers
If the Move Only Non-Zero Budget Numbers option is checked, then only accounts that have a non-zero balance will have their next year budget #s moved to Current Budget in the new year. Again, there is no change to the Forecast or Next Year Budget # buckets.
New year’s budget numbers will be as follows:
- Current Budget – Prior year next year budget #s for accounts that have a non-zero balance
- Forecast – Prior year forecast #s
- Next Year Budget – Prior year next year #s
