While the Blend Ticket represents the amount of product planned for a batch or load, the actual result is usually over or under the ticket amount. This difference can affect the accuracy of inventory, the customer invoice, and profit reports. Edit to Actual Scale is used when trucks are reweighed after the product is blended, ensuring maximum inventory accuracy.
Edit to Actual compares the actual total weight to the original Blend Ticket weight and adjusts the inventory quantities of the analysis items accordingly. The program prorates product quantities up or down depending on their percentage by weight of participation in the formulated product.
- Note: Only those products marked as being analysis contributors by their scale setting are affected by this change along with blend fee items. Chemicals and other add-ons are not affected.
