Blend Shed Overview - Agvance SKY Dispatch

Blend Shed in Agvance SKY Dispatch gives blend shed operators a single view of Tender Drivers and Applicator schedules. It helps them prepare and load tender vehicles for the day's jobs. To get there, select Blend Shed in the left navigation, below Jobs.

The top of the page shows Tender Driver tiles. Applicator schedules are below them. Use the tabs below to set up Blend Shed, work with Tender Drivers, and view Applicator schedules. Once a vehicle is loaded, Tender Drivers can view their loaded tickets and products by compartment in Agvance Ops.

Note: Access to Blend Shed is controlled by Dispatch permissions. See Users and Roles -Agvance SKY Dispatch.

Before Getting Started

The following steps must be set up before Blend Shed shows information:

  • Tender Drivers - Set up Tender Drivers at Company Assets / Tender Drivers tab. If no Tender Drivers are set up or selected, the page shows Enable or Setup Tender Drivers.
  • Applicators - Select Applicators in My Assets to show their schedules on the Blend Shed page.
  • Vehicles - Create compartments on the vehicle, and assign the Tender Driver a vehicle that has compartments. A vehicle can be assigned to only one Tender Driver at a time
  • Locations - Agvance Locations must be geo-located to sort Tender Drivers by location.

Tender Drivers

A row of Tender Driver tiles runs across the top of the Blend Shed page. The row stays in place while scrolling the rest of the page. Use the scroll bar or the stepper arrows to move through the tiles.

Each tile shows:

  • Driver Alias - The Tender Driver's alias.
  • Vehicle - The vehicle assigned to the Tender Driver, if one is assigned.
  • Linked Applicator - The Applicator linked to the Tender Driver, if a link exists.
  • Load Tender - Opens the Load window to load products for this Tender Driver.

Sort Tender Drivers by Location

Use the Location drop-down to choose how Tender Driver tiles are ordered. It lists the Agvance Locations selected in My Assets, and it remembers y the next time Blend Shed opens.

  • No Location Selected - Tender Drivers sort alphabetically by alias.
  • Location Selected - Tender Drivers closest to the selected location appear first. Drivers whose last known location is more than 8 hours old move to the end of the list.

Note: If the selected location is not geo-located, a warning appears and Tender Drivers stay in alphabetical order. Geo-locate the location to use this sort.

Applicator Schedules

Applicator schedules show below the Tender Driver tiles, laid out like the Schedules page. Applicators are sorted alphabetically and filtered by the My Assets selection.

  • Applicator Tile - Shows the Applicator's alias, icon, and linked Tender Driver.
  • Job Tiles - Show the ticket number, Grower, Field, assigned Tender Drivers, and a status color.

Note: Applicator schedules are view only in Blend Shed. Schedules cannot be edited, and jobs cannot be dragged to a new spot. To make schedule changes, select Jobs in the left navigation, then select Schedules in the bar at the bottom of the page.

Add a Tender Driver to a Job

  1. Right-click a job tile in the Applicator schedules.

  2. Select Add Tender Driver. The Add Tender Drivers window opens.

  3. In the Select Tender Drivers field, select one or more Tender Drivers.
  4. Select Assign Tender Driver(s). To close the window without assigning, select Cancel.

The selected Tender Drivers are added to the job alongside any drivers already assigned. Existing assignments are not replaced.

Note: Assigning Tender Drivers to the selected jobs does not reorder the primary job.

These Tender Drivers do not appear in the list:

  • Already Assigned - Tender Drivers already assigned to the job.
  • Linked to an Applicator - Tender Drivers linked to an Applicator.
  • Assigned Applicator - The SKY user of the Applicator assigned to the job.
