Q. How can a COPAK chemical product that is a combination of separately registered products be setup in Agvance so individual Hazmats may be printed for each registered product? In this scenario, the COPAK product is used on purchasing and sales transactions.
Note: Examples of COPAKs that fall into this situation are Trivapro and Orondis. The following steps use the Orondis Opti COPAK as an example of the setup in Agvance.
A. Setup each raw ingredient product individually in Agvance and link each to the correct regulatory database interface product.
The image below shows the Orondis Opti A product linked to the regulatory database interface.
The image below shows the Orondis Opti B product linked to the regulatory database interface.
After the raw products have been setup, add the COPAK product. This will be setup with a manufactured formula containing both raw ingredients to print the separate EPA numbers on the HAZMAT shipping order. Enter the quantities that make up the COPAK product and select the Split Out When Printing HAZMAT option.
When creating a transaction, such as a Blend Ticket, Delivery Ticket, Invoice, Inter-Company Transfer, or Purchase Receipt, only the COPAK product is selected.
The HAZMAT displays raw ingredient products with the correct shipping information and both EPA numbers.
