Futures Month Pricing Import Criteria

Import a TSV file at Grain / Setup / Futures Month/Pricing

The following criteria must be followed:

  • Commodity – This IS required. The Commodity must be active in the database.
  • Location – The Location IS NOT required. This can be blank, an active Location, or a Location in the database to which the user has access.
  • Exchange – The Exchange IS NOT required. This can be blank or an Exchange in the database.
  • Bid Criteria – This IS NOT required. This can be blank or a Bid Criteria in the database.
  • Futures Month – The Futures Month IS required and cannot be longer than 10 characters.
  • Starting Delivery Period – This IS required and must be formatted as MM/DD/YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY.
  • Ending Delivery Period – This IS required and must be formatted as MM/DD/YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY.
  • Futures Month End Date – The Futures Month End Date IS NOT required for editing but IS required for adding. If entering data, it must be formatted as MM/DD/YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY.
  • Futures Price – This IS NOT required. If entering a Futures Price, it must be a number rounded to the Futures Price decimal accuracy. Select Futures Web Service Setup at Setup / Preferences. If this is not set up, the default is 4.
  • Basis Price – This IS NOT required. If entering a Basis Price, it must be a number that is rounded to the Futures Price decimal accuracy. Select Futures Web Service Setup at Setup / Preferences. If this is not set up, the default is 4. If blank when editing and a match is found for the record, the Basis Price will not be updated.
  • Commodity Symbol – This IS NOT required. If entering a Commodity Symbol, data cannot be longer than 10 characters.
  • Futures Month Alias ID – The Futures Month Alias ID IS NOT required. This can be blank or a Futures Month Alias ID in the database can be used.
