Purpose
The Future Product Planning dashboard provides information to understand how much of each product will be needed for next season to order them in advance. The Plans data is for selected Date Type and Date Period from the filters. In addition to the Plans, sales Invoices are pulled where the Invoice Date falls one year prior to the date range. For example, if the date range is set from 01/01/2022 - 11/14/2022, Plans within that date range will appear as well as Invoices where the Invoice Date is from 01/01/2021 - 11/14/2021. This helps understand what is planned for now over what was sold in the prior year.
Plans include all approved Plans and are not on an open Booking. Sales include only Invoices within the last two years.

This dashboard displays Plan Quantity, Cost per Unit, and its extension by Product and Department. View the difference in quantity for Plans made now against Sales that occurred during the same period from the prior year.
Filter by Department ID, Department Location, Product ID, Date Type (Plan Date or Estimated Execution Date), Start Date, and/or End Date to view specifics.
This dashboard honors user restrictions based on Product location.
