Q. I receive an error while trying to access prior year data and can’t get into the prior year database. How can I fix this issue?
A. Check that in prefmiscacct, the record that holds the prior year data has consistency between thekey field (which is the display in the drop down at the log in screen FYAVxxxx) and thetext field (which holds the path to the previous year data, used to find the agvsec.mdb file). Beginning in version 4.0, the folder names have to be identical in those 2 fields.
Note: The column called thekey (and the folder that contains the data) must begin with 'FY' or 'PY'.
