SKY Mapping User Roles

User roles are set up within SKY Mapping to provide user securities by type of employee. The securities can be set up on different levels to accommodate the needs of each user, allowing some users more access to certain areas of the program, while allowing others to access only what is needed for their tasks. 

Role Examples

Agronomist or Administrative Role

• High Access Role - This role has access to most items available within the program
  • Examples of the items available would be:
    • Fields - Add/Edit, Resurfacing, Activate/Inactivate
    • Customers - Add/Edit, Activate/Inactivate
    • Analysis Layers - Events, Recs
    • Events - Application, Harvest, Irrigation, Planting, Soil Sampling, Tissue Sampling, Scouting, Tillage
    • Exports - Events, Field Boundaries, Recs, Surfaces
    • Layers - Analysis, Events, Recommendations
    • Recommendations - Application, Planting
    • Reports - SKY Mapping, Field, Summary Reports
    • Salesperson - Setup

Sales Role

• Mid-Level Role - This role is fit to provide the tools that a sales representative might need
  • Examples of the items available to this user would be:
    • Fields - Add/Edit, Resurfacing
    • Events- Application, Harvest, Irrigation, Planting, Soil Sampling, Tissue Sampling, Scouting, Tillage
    • Exports - Events, Field Boundaries, Recs, Surfaces
    • Layers - Analysis, Events, Recommendations
    • Recommendations - Application, Planting
    • Reports - SKY Mapping, Field, Summary Reports

Intern Role

• Basic Role - This role is designed to allow the user access to only the basic functions of the program
  • Examples of the items available to this user would be:
    • Fields - Add/Edit
    • Analysis Layers - Events, Recs
    • Sampling Events - Fertilizer, Manure, Nematode, Tissue
    • Exports - Events, Field Boundaries, Recs, Surfaces
    • Layers - Events
    • Reports - SKY Mapping, Field, Summary Reports
