Q. What is PrintBoss, and how is it used?
A. PrintBoss is a check printing solution developed by Wellspring Software that allows checks to be printed on blank or partially pre-printed check stock. PrintBoss displays as an option in the list of printers and uses templates to determine the final look of printed checks. The check number may also be printed on the check, eliminating any numbering issues.
Note: If the MICR line is not pre-printed, special ink is required to print the checks, which requires a dedicated check printer.
