Q. What is the Invalid Weight Log?
A. The Invalid Weight Log is a file created from the Grain Scale interface that stores all invalid weights captured while in the unmanned mode.
When the Enable unmanned outbound scale option is selected on the Grain Scale Interface / Setup / RFID / Readers / Setup RFID Readers / Edit / RFID Reader Information window, Start and Stop buttons are added to the Add a Scale Ticket window.
Selecting Start puts the scale in unmanned mode. The scale then attempts to read the RFID tag and look for a valid weight. When it receives the same valid weight twice, it captures the weight and prints the Scale Ticket.
If there are problems capturing a valid weight, the log file will be updated with the invalid values sent by the scale. To manually resolve the invalid weights, turn the unmanned mode off by selecting Stop, and manually capture the weight.
To check if an invalid weight is detected, navigate to the C: / Users / [USER] / AppData / Local / Temp / InvalidWT / InvalidWT.log file on the Grain Scale Interface computer, and view the Invalid Weight Log. The file should look like the following:
02/17/2015 2:20:37 PM | 70ii0 | Unmanned
02/17/2015 4:15:39 PM | **Invalid** | Unmanned
02/18/2015 10:00:22 AM | 30i0 | Unmanned
After the weight is manually captured, put the scale back into unmanned mode by selecting the Start button.
