Q. Blend Ticket can be reversed and imported into a new Blend Ticket using the Import Blend button.
A. In Agvance Blending, it is recommended to void blends, if created incorrectly. Optionally, the Reverse button can be used which will create a new negating Blend Ticket. As a result, the new reversed Blend Ticket will offset the original Blend Ticket.
Both voided and reversed Blend Tickets can be imported into new Blend Tickets.
The following should be considered before importing Blend Tickets that have been reversed.
- The negating Blend Ticket, which includes the text Reversal of in the Billing Comments area, is not typically imported as it will have negative quantities of product(s).
- If importing a ticket that includes the text Reversed by in the Billing Comments, these comments do not carry over into the Billing Notes of the new Blend Ticket.
Note: In some cases where interfaces are being used and voiding is not an option for information to properly flow through to another system, SSI may recommend reversing a Blend Ticket instead of voiding.
