Q. I would like to have an additional copy of my daily image from Agvance to be saved to another machine on the network as an additional safety measure. What is the best way to do that?
A. Ask your hardware tech to create a batch file that copies the files from the LastImage folder inside your data folder to the location on the network where you would like your additional copy to reside. The batch file can be scheduled to run nightly using the Windows Scheduler and should be run after your backup operation has run. There are 4 files that should be copied from the LastImage folder and they should resemble the following:
Avdata.dat
AvdataPntData.dat
AvdataSeedMod.dat
Agvsec.mdb
These should be the only files in the LastImage folder.
