- FTM-4890 / Regulatory RUP Requirements (MO) – The Dealer Name and Dealer Lic # have been added to the Location Setup window in both Accounting and the Hub (under the Setup menu). These are saved in the Location table as strings with a length of 50 characters each.
- Why – In Missouri, the Dealer name and license number are required for reporting, records keeping, and auditing.
- When/Where – This change can be seen on the Location Setup window in Accounting and the Hub.
- Action Needed – Add the Dealer Name and Dealer Lic # in the setup (especially for MO Locations).
- FTM-5071 / SQL Server 2025 Express – Attachments are able to be used until the database reaches 40,000 MB (40 GB). The Checkup reports will display a warning when the database reaches 37,500 MB (37.5 GB).
- Why – This provides more space when utilizing attachments.
- When/Where – This applies to SQL Server 2025 Express.

- FTM-4899 / Budget Billing ACH File – Budget Billing Payments and Prepay use the ACH Type set up on the Customer when creating the ACH file.
- Why – This causes the file to be created with the appropriate file type.
- When/Where – The ACH Type can be seen in positions 51-53 in the file created.

A/R
- FTM-4914 / Zero Dollar Payment – When making a payment and checking Use U/A Cash, unchecking, then saving, the Payment saves correctly.
- Why – Originally, the Payment was saving with a zero dollar amount in the Pay Method grid. The Payment was posted to the Customer's account, but the Overall AR and G/L Receivables balance showed an out of balance on the Checkup due to the zero Journal Entry.
- When/Where – The General Journal Entry created from the Payment made as described above shows the Payment amount rather than all zeros.
- Action Needed – No action required.
- FTM-4903 / Bookings with Apostrophes – When there are apostrophes in the Product Name, regular Comments, or Additional Comments on Bookings, the apostrophe is no longer duplicated.
- Why – This change updates how apostrophes are stored and displayed in the Product Name, regular Comments, and Additional Comments to prevent unintended character duplication.
- When/Where – This is applicable any time text is entered containing an apostrophe in the areas mentioned above.

- FTM-4971 / Credit Quick Ticket – Quick Tickets with a negative amount can now be saved as expected.
- Why – In version 7.0.29700, saving a credit Quick Ticket was not allowed.
- When/Where – This can be seen when saving a Quick Ticket with a negative amount.

- FTM-4986 / Missouri RUP Dealer Name and License Number – The Dealer Name and Dealer License Number set up on the Invoice Location are saved to the Invoice table upon saving the Invoice. This is only when adding an Invoice, not editing.
- Why – Saving the Dealer Name and Dealer License Number complies with the State of Missouri requirements.
- When/Where – The Dealer Name and Dealer License Number for the Location are saved when adding an Invoice.
- Action Needed – The Dealer Name and Dealer Lic # are set up on the Location's Profile tab at Setup / Locations. Ensure information here is accurate before creating Invoices.
- FTM-4942 / Prepay Specific Line Items on Bookings – When editing a Booking and changing a zero line quantity to have a quantity, the line will be unmarked as invoiced when saving.
- Why – The P box could not be checked to prepay specific lines on Bookings even though they did not appear to be invoiced.
- When/Where – The P box can be checked on a Booking at Accounting / A/R / Product Bookings.

- FTM-5074 / Quick Ticket Void/Start With – Selecting Void/Start With will now ask for a Cashier ID when the Require a cashier on the quick ticket preference is enabled. This carries through to saving the newly created Quick Ticket without needing to re-enter the PIN/ID.
- Why – This update improves accountability.
- When/Where – The Void/Start With button is found at A/R / Manage Quick Tickets. The Require a cashier on the quick ticket preference is found at Setup / Location Preferences on the Invoice tab.

- FTM-4928 / Standard Payment on Account Penny Rounding – A Penny Round section was added to the Payment on Account window to select a GL Acct and enter the Amount to round a Payment with a Cash Pay Method to a different value. This will ONLY affect the Journal Entry created for the Payment. The dollars credited to the Customer account and to the Invoice/Discount will NOT change.
Note: If the Location for which the Payment will post has a default Penny Rounding Rule set up, the Location ID will display and selecting the ... button will apply the rounding automatically. If no Location is set up, the rounding can be done manually.- Why – The Penny Rounding Rules and Location setup can be used on the standard Payment on Account for Bookings, Invoices, and Budget Billing.
- When/Where – Penny Rounding Rules can be applied on Payments using Cash as the Pay Method at Accounting / A/R / Payments. No combination Payment Methods are allowed.
- Action Needed – Penny Rounding Rules must first be set up at Setup / A/R / Penny Rounding Rules and indicated on the Location's G/L Posting tab at Setup / Locations.
- FTM-5046 / Penny Rounding Payment on Account Document – Penny Rounding information has been added to the Payment documents (French and English).
- Why – This provides clarification on any rounding done on the Payment.

- FTM-5079 / Cost Warning AR Invoice – The cost warning message no longer displays when posting an AR Invoice.

- FTM-5042 / NMI Partial Refund Invoices – Copies of the Invoice and/or Payment can be printed when processing an NMI partial refund.

- FTM-5064 / Quick Ticket Penny Rounding – Cash Payments on Quick Tickets can now be rounded using the Penny Rounding Rules. The <Acct> defaults as the Posting GL Account from the Penny Rounding Rule but can be changed. The Amount calculates automatically but can be adjusted if needed.
- Why – This allows for Penny Rounding Rules to be applied to cash-only Quick Tickets.
- When/Where – A Penny Round section is available when adding a Quick Ticket (Add Quick Ticket shortcut icon). The name of the Penny Rounding Rule set for the Location is also displayed as it is the rule applied to Quick Tickets.
- Action Needed – Penny Rounding Rules must be set up at Accounting / Setup / A/R / Penny Rounding Rules and a Penny Rounding Rule must be set on the Location's G/L Posting tab at Accounting / Setup / Locations.
- FTM-5073 / Roll Through Payment Surcharges – When surcharges are enabled, the Surcharge checkbox cannot be deselected on Payment windows. The Surcharge Amount can still be changed unless the Disable Surcharge Changes preference is enabled.
- Why – This ensures surcharges are applied appropriately and Checkup reports remain in balance.

Setup
- FTM-4984 / Penny Rounding Rules – Penny Rounding Rules can now be set up in Agvance Accounting.
- Why – These rules are used to determine how and when to round Payment amounts.
- When/Where – These rules are set up in Accounting at Setup / A/R / Penny Rounding Rules.
- Action Needed – No action required.
- FTM-4985 / Penny Rounding Location Setup – Penny Rounding Rules can be set on the Location.
- Why – The Penny Rounding Rule selected will serve as the default for that Location.
- When/Where – Set the Penny Rounding Rule on the Location's G/L Posting tab at Setup / Locations.
- Action Needed – Penny Rounding Rules must first be set up at Setup / A/R / Penny Rounding Rules.
- FTM-5102 / Vendor ACH Files New Format – When the Export 7 Records as EDI preference is checked, Format 4010 can now be selected from the 7 Records EDI Format drop-down. This format populates more data fields in the file, keeping the same format and line limits. This also provides three new inputs in Accounting Preferences for Sender ID, Recipient ID, and Payer Name.
- Why – This ensures complete information is sent through the banking process.
- When/Where – These preferences are found on the A/P tab at Accounting / Setup / Preferences.
- Action Needed – Ensure Accounting Preferences are set as needed before paying ACH Vendors.
Accounting Reports
- FTM-4944 / Running Total on Combo Statement – A new Combo Statement format has ben added (Alternate4). Transactions on this Statement are sorted by Transaction Date then by Transaction Number. A P is noted in the Extension column on any transaction line when either some or all of the line is prepaid. The total of the sales tax for the Customer is added in the Extension column. Additionally, a P is also noted on this sales tax amount when either some or all of the sales tax is prepaid.
- Why – This new format allows for the Statement to display the running Prepay balance and Regular balance after each transaction listed on the report.
- When/Where – The Combo Statement can be run at Accounting Reports / Accounts Receivable / A/R Status.
- Action Needed – To use this new format, choose Alternate4 from the Combo Statement drop-down on the A/R tab at Accounting / Setup / Preferences.
- FTM-4807 / Alt 4 Combo Statement State and Adj Tax Code – The Alternate 4 Combo Statement was changed to use the GST/PST preference for Invoices, displaying taxes in the same manner as the Invoice document.
- Why – The Alternate 4 Combo Statement now aligns with the GST/PST display preferences used on Invoices.
- When/Where – This can be seen on the Alternate 4 Combo Statement document.
- Action Needed – This applies when:
- Alternate4 is selected from the Combo Statement drop-down on the A/R tab at Accounting / Setup / Preferences.
- The Print GST/PST Taxes option is checked on the Invoice Printout tab at Accounting / Setup / Location Preferences.
Motor Fuel
- FTM-4802 / Indiana GT-103 Report – A new Motor Fuel report has been added for Indiana to report gasoline and gasohol gallons sold as well as use tax paid.
- Why – The state of Indiana needs to be able to report gasoline and gasohol gallons purchased/sold as well as use tax paid (GUT).
- When/Where – Gasoline Products (Product Code Types 061, 065) or gasohol Products (Product Code Types E01-E99) sold or purchased in Indiana will be included on this Indiana Motor Fuel Gasoline Use Tax (GT-103) report. When an exempt Classification is selected, any Customers in this Classification and included on the report will have their gasoline/gasohol Product totals set to exempt gallons sold. When gas tax paid Products are set up on this report, the total gas tax paid will be reported for each of those Product Code Types if that Product (or matching Product ID in a Department with a matching Department Category) exists on the Purchase Invoice(s) being reported.
- Action Needed – Gasoline, gasohol, gasoline use tax paid, and gasohol use tax paid Products will need to be set up per Product Code Type that needs reported for Indiana fuels. Gasoline and gasohol use tax paid Products per Product Code Type will need to exist on the Purchase Invoice for the GUT to be calculated within the file.
- FTM-5026 / Indiana Gasoline Use Tax DBA Information – A DBAName node was added to the Indiana GUT-103 file that populates with the company name from the database.
- Why – This information is required by the Indiana Department of Revenue in the XML file.
- When/Where – The GUT-103 file is created at Accounting / Motor Fuel / Reports / Indiana. The DBAName is displayed above the StateID in the file.
- Action Needed – Ensure the Name field at Hub / Setup / Company is populated correctly as this will serve as the DBAName.
Utilities
- FTM-5096 / Flight Plan Import – A new Format drop-down has been added to the Flight Plan import. This Format is remembered per User for the next import session. Splits function as each person is billed for their portion of the Product from the file. The Invoice Number column in the file is populated as the Control Number on the Blend Ticket, and the job number is populated in the Customer PO field on the Blend when using Format 2.
- Why – This allows job numbers with multiple Invoice numbers to create a Blend Ticket for each Invoice number that exists, taking into account the share percent and individual Customer assigned to the Invoice.
- When/Where – The Flight Plan import is found at Blending / Utilities / Import Flight Plan Application File.
- Action Needed – To enable Flight Plan import functionality, reach out to a Sales representative.
- FTM-4895 / Non-Contract DPR Override Open Storage Hold – OS - On Hold is available in the Non-contract DPR drop-down on the Customer, Assembly, and Overfill Rules.
- Why – When a Purchase Contract is overfilled and no other Purchase Contracts are available to be applied to the Scale Ticket, this option has the overfill units set as Open Storage with On Hold checked.
- When/Where – OS - On Hold is available as an option in the following places:
- Selecting Overfill Rules on the Purchases tab at Grain / Setup / Preferences
- Selecting Setup at Grain Scale Interface / Operations/ Review and Transfer Scale Tickets
- The Disposition on the Scale Interface Non-Contract DPR Override tab at Grain / Operations / Assembly Sheet
- The Scale Interface Non-Contract DPR Override drop-down on the Customer's Grain Information tab (Hub or Accounting)
- Action Needed – Select OS - ON HOLD from the Scale Interface Non-Contract DPR Override drop-down on the Customer's Grain Information tab.
Setup
- FTM-4982 / Unmanned Outbound Reader Minimum Weight – A preference is now available to set a Minimum Weight for unmanned outbound that can be used with a Kahler RFID.
- Why – This prevents inaccurate smaller weights from being read.
- When/Where – The Minimum Weight For Unmanned Outbound field is available at Setup / Configure Scale Interface for Scale 1 and Scale 2.
- Action Needed – This setting works with Kahler RFID Readers with the Enable unmanned outbound scale option enabled at Setup / RFID / Readers.
- FTM-5166 / Barchart Futures Prices – The default URL for the Futures Price feed from Barchart has been updated.
- Why – Barchart has begun using a new endpoint.
- When/Where – This is found by selecting Futures Web Service Setup at Setup / Grain Preferences.
- Action Needed – If the override URL was used, that will need to be removed upon taking this update.
Grain Scale Interface
- FTM-4127 / Message Boards/RFID Readers – A Lane field was added to the setup of a Message Board and RFID Reader to tie them together. This setup is only used for RFID Readers set as Auto Start Reader.
- Why – This gives the ability to auto start messages on each scale's respective Message Board without affecting the other scale/Message Board.
- When/Where – This new field can be seen on the Message Board and RFID Reader setup screens at Grain Scale Interface / Setup / Message Boards / Message Board and Grain Scale Interface / Setup / RFID / Readers.
- Action Needed – When setting up an Auto Start RFID Reader and Message Board that should be tied together, enter the same Lane for both. Lanes must be unique per pairing.
- FTM-4603 / Half Page Ticket Types – A new format (Half Page-6) was added as a Grain Scale Interface Ticket Type.
- Why – This format gives the ability to print one copy of all needed information on a half sheet of paper rather than two copies on a full sheet (Full Page-2UP6).
- When/Where – This can be seen when adding/printing Scale Tickets in Grain Scale Interface and utilizing the Half Page-6 format (when the same Scale is being used for the Scale Tickets and the format).
- Action Needed – Before adding/printing Scale Tickets, navigate to Grain Scale Interface / Setup / Configure Scale Interface and choose the appropriate Scale to Configure. On the Printer tab, choose Half Page-6 from the Ticket Type drop-down for the Inside and/or Outside Printer.
- FTM-4981 / RFID Photo Eye – A Require Photoeye Toggle After Unmanned Ticket option was added.
- Why – When using this preference, the unmanned process on the next ticket will not start until the photo eyes are broken.
- When/Where – This option is available at Grain Scale Interface / Setup / RFID / Preferences.
- Action Needed – The preference must be checked before completing a ticket by unmanned outbound.
- FTM-4980 / RFID Outbound Tickets – A new Disable unmanned outbound for ticket type of commodity transfer option was added to the RFID Reader setup.
- Why – This option ensure gross weights are recorded accurately and efficiently.
- When/Where – This option is found on the RFID Reader at Grain / Operations / Agvance Grain Scale Interface / Setup / RFID / Readers.
- Action Needed – This setting should be enabled for the unmanned outbound RFID Reader to ensure unmanned does not run when the RFID tag is scanned on unmanned scale RFID Readers for Outbound Commodity Transfers.

- When/Where – The Ticket Type is chosen on the Printer tab at Setup / Configure Scale Interface.
