Q. When loading water out of the facility, it is metered out by the gallon. However, the default water item’s mixing units cannot be edited in Item Information. Also, the mix in mixing units are selected on the Material Group.
A. The default Water item in form-U-net has some complex blending calculation models that dictate that the Request Unit and Mixing Unit be set to Pound. Those units are not editable.
To fix this, another water item may be added to form-U-net with a different item code, such as H2O. The Mixing Unit on this new item may be set to Gallon. Remove the default Water item from the Material Group and replace it with the new item.
