Mapping October 2025

Version 5.19

Web

  • HW-11768 / Import Events – Harvest Events using Auto Import works as expected.
  • HW-11946 / Zone Tools – A new tool was added to the Zones toolbar called Eliminate which is enabled when multiple Zones exist in a Field. When selected, a window displays with two Union Type options and a Minimum Area parameter defaulted to 0.5 ac.
    • The Minimum Area can be adjusted to a value greater than zero and up to three decimal places (i.e., a minimum of 0.001 ac.). The Union Type defaults to the Longest Shared Border and displays a message stating This will eliminate all zones smaller than the entered Minimum Area by unioning each zone to an adjacent zone that has the longest shared border.
    • When Largest Neighbor is selected as the Union Type, a message displays stating This will eliminate all zones smaller than the entered Minimum Area by unioning each zone to the largest adjacent zone.
    • Selecting Eliminate joins all zones smaller than the Minimum Area value with the adjacent Zone having the longest shared border when the default of Longest Shared Border is selected.
    • If Largest Neighbor is selected, joining the Zones smaller than the Minimum Area is to the largest (in area) adjacent Zone.
    • Undo can be selected after the Eliminate Zone process and returns all Zones that were previously eliminated.
  • HW-12113 / Batch Edit Boundary – An Import Template Type drop-down was added to the Template Manager and is available when Field Boundary is selected as the File Type. Two options are available from this drop-down - Add Boundary and Update Boundary. The Add Boundary option is the default (current) functionality and adds the Field Boundary as expected. The Update Boundary option has the following differences:
    • Requires Customer, Farm, and Field names to match and update existing boundaries
    • Matching boundaries display in a green font and allow updates when selecting Update.
    • Non-matching Field boundaries display in a red font until a matching Field is selected by choosing the Edit Field/Customer option from the context menu.
    • To confirm the matching Field is accurate, the matching strips display the original (existing) area and the new area.
    • The non-matching strips will only show the new area.
    • Selecting the strip zooms to the new boundary, filled in blue with a white border. The original (existing) boundary has a blue fill and a dark blue border.
    • Overlaps are displayed in a yellow font, indicating a correction is needed before the update is permitted.
    • Selecting Update replaces all matching Fields' existing boundaries with new boundaries based on the naming matching logic.
    • If any Fields have imported data, a prompt displays with an option to Resurface Events on all Fields.
  • HW-12235 / Manure Application – Importing manure application data works as expected.

Mobile

  • HW-11833 / Field Setup – Support was implemented for the WF610 Pro dongle, giving the ability to connect an RS232 Serial cable to the dongle and connect to SKY Mapping via Bluetooth.
  • HW-11867 / Event and Rec Type – The Event Type name was added to the top Nav screen to indicate what Event Type is being used. If it is an Aggregate Event, all aggregate Event Types are displayed on the Event Type tab. The last Event Type selection is retained. Additionally, a label was added on the Collection step for Soil, Tissue, and Nematode Sampling Events.
